Be very leary of the rollovers some sportsbooks give you when you deposit money. They offer you these bonuses when you deposit money in your account. The bonuses sometimes come with a 10 times rollover attached to the bonus. That means you need to wager 10 times of your deposit until you can request a withdrawl. For a average bettor that could take many bets. For example, you deposit 1000 dollars, you take a matching bonus of 1000 dollars. You have to wager 10,000 dollars in order to withdraw any money. This happened to me at Betus sportsbook. I stupidly took bonuses on my deposits and built up over 30,000 in rollover money that needed to be wagered.

Welcome to 2000 pal......math is a MOFO for gamblers....

good luck with your bets.

A little shortcut method I use to determine on the fly if bonus is worthwile.
Say you deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus with 10x rollover........so you start with $200 and have to make 2k in bets to cash out

Then say you ONLY bet -110 straight bets where the HOLD is a tad under 5percent, you would expect to lose about $2000x .05= $100
Pretty much a neutral proposition, however if you enjoy exotics like props and parlays where the hold is higher, its going to be a losing long term deal.

Say its a 5x rollover or $1000 in bets you have to make, then $1000x .o5=$50
Now we are talking a positive long term deal.

Personally I dont mind reasonable rollovers since Im not an in/out kinda player, I like the extra funds to hopefully allow me to build a bigger potential cashout and if Im losing then at least I had more action for my money.
